About the Storytellers
Ryan Chiavetta is a first-time storyteller, long time writer and lifelong New Hampshire resident who will be telling a story about how one of the worst nights of his life became a catalyst that changed his life, but only after he faced an internal reckoning.
Rick Mahoney is a retired Phillips Exeter Academy administrator and basketball coach and “near native” of New Hampshire, having lived in Exeter most of his life. He is a husband, father of three and grandfather of four.
Paul Doncaster is a father, published author and storyteller who spends his professional life using people’s stories to design elegant and usable online experiences. He is a recent Boston Moth GrandSLAMS winner and was featured on the World Channel's TV showcase, "Stories from the Stage."
Bree Zephyr can be found running around Portsmouth with a bass drum in a baby carriage as a member of the Leftist Marching Band. Under a previously assigned identity, she founded William Shatner Beat Night, performed at TEDx Piscatiqua, recorded albums for the RPM challenge , and volunteered for the Portsmouth Halloween Parade.
Barbara Rimkunas is the co-executive director of the Exeter Historical Society. You can watch her on YouTube in the Exeter History Minute series she creates each month with her co-conspirator, Laura Martin. She writes lots of stuff - mostly about dead people.
Ann Czaja is the Master Chocolatier at Lindt USA and co-author a fantasy genre novel with her sister Kate. A Virginia native, Ann is currently trying to divide her time between New Hampshire and Virginia. This will be her first time telling at a storytelling event.
