Welcome the lighter days of Spring at NHSCOT’s Beltane celebration on May 10th from 2 -6pm at The Word Barn in Exeter, NH.
Pack a picnic lunch and bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the mostly outdoor springtime event. Enjoy live Celtic music provided by Jordan TW with Matt Jensen; Isabel Oliart, Elias Cardoso and Kate Knudsvig; and the Pipes & Drums of NHSCOT.
Play a game of haggis toss (aka corn hole), try your hand at street curling or soak up the sun next to the warming fires, which are said to have protective powers and to encourage growth during the summer season. We will celebrate with traditional Beltane symbols such as the Hawthorn tree and spring flowers.
Beer, wine, spirits and soda will be available for purchase from The Word Barn and NHSCOT will provide a selection of light snacks. Parking is onsite.
