Join us as we host the New Hampshire Mushroom Company for an engaging workshop that will teach you how to identify, find, and enjoy some of the amazing wild edible mushrooms - ranging from such things as Porcini, Black Trumpets, and Chicken of the Woods.
This workshop will take place indoors with a focus on local, wild edible mushrooms that you’ll be able to recognize and harvest for your own cooking recipes and enjoyment.
This mushroom workshop is dedicated to all beginner fungus enthusiasts wanting to learn how to correctly identify wild gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.
If you love being outdoors, and always wanted to learn about wild food, this is a great opportunity for you to learn how to safely collect and identify local gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.

ABOUT NH MUSHROOM COMPANY
Today, you can find NH Mushroom Company’s (NHMC) cultivated and wild mushrooms in restaurants throughout New Hampshire and Maine and Farmers Markets on the weekends and new NHMC, specialty stores. In 2020 a retail shop was opened where fresh mushrooms and mushroom themed products can be purchased year-round.
While NHMC has not only been the premier source of specialty mushrooms, but their educational programs also featuring everything fungi has been enjoyed by thousands. NHMC has been featured for their work in segments such as WMUR’s cook’s corner, and New Hampshire Chronicle. Along with publications throughout the country, it was featured in an Oscar qualifying documentary “The Line that Divides Us”.
NHMC has enjoyed a renewed interest in mushroom education, offering many educational programs throughout the year. Everything from cooking with mushrooms, Friday Forage, and Sunday ID Sessions. Then the ever so popular Can You Eat It Class.
With a decade under their belt, NHMC is excited to see what happens in the next ten years.
